• Essential Elements Book 1  (6th Grade)

• Essential Elements Book 2  (7th Grade)

• Habits of a Successful Middle Level String Musician (8th grade)

Materials for at home practice: 

• Instrument and bow in excellent playing condition

• Rosin and cleaning cloth

• Rock Stop (cellos and basses)

• Shoulder Rest (violins and violas)

  • 1/2 -3/4 size for smaller violins and 13" (or smaller) violas ​

  • 4/4 violin size for full size violins and 14" violas

  • Viola size for 15" or larger violas

All students should rent an instrument while they are still growing and learning at the middle school level.
